Raucocel^® Packings is made of 100% polyvinyl alcohol. The cross-linked cell structure and controlled pore sizes provide Raucocel^® with its characteristic properties. Raucocel^® Packings were developed for use after operations as well as for epistaxis. They are available in various sizes, whereby the smaller sizes are generally suited for paediatric use. During the production process Raucocel^® are compressed as much as possible and can therefo re be inserted fast and easily.
